About this tool
Arrays of records are much easier to scan as rows and columns than as nested text. This viewer builds a table from your JSON, flattens nested objects into dotted columns such as address.city, and lets you sort, search and hide columns. Large tables are shown 100 rows per page, so big files stay fast.
Sort, search and choose columns
Click a heading once to sort ascending, again for descending, and a third time to clear the sort. Numbers sort numerically and text sorts alphabetically. The search box matches any visible column, and hiding columns removes them from both the search and the exported CSV.
Export to CSV
The Export view as CSV button saves the current sorted and filtered rows with the visible columns. To export the full data with every column, use the Download button in the toolbar above the tool.
How to use it
- Paste a JSON array of objects, such as API results.
- Click a column heading to sort, type in the search box to filter, and use Columns to show or hide fields.
- Press Export view as CSV to download exactly the rows and columns you are looking at.
Frequently asked questions
How are nested objects shown?
They are flattened into columns with dotted names such as address.city. Arrays inside a row appear as JSON text in one cell.
Can it handle large files?
Yes. Only 100 rows are drawn at a time, and searching and sorting run on the whole data set.
What if the JSON is not an array?
A single object becomes a one-row table.
